Doggie Julian

Alvin F. "Doggie " Julian ( born April 5, 1901 in Reading, Pennsylvania, † 28 July 1967) was an American basketball coach. He is best known for winning the NCAA championship with the College of the Holy Cross in 1947. Later he coached the Boston Celtics.

For his achievements Julian was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1968.
