Doi Suthep is a 1676 m high mountain in the province of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. Doi Suthep is located west of the city of Chiang Mai in the National Park Doi Suthep - Doi Pui.

Doi Suthep is part of the Daen Lao mountain range that stretches over a length of 200 kilometers along the northern border of Thailand. The mountains form the watershed between the Salween and the Mekong system. The water of the northern flank flows directly into the Salween, while the water of the southern flank flows partly to the southwest, where the Maenam Pai breaks its way through the chain and flows into the Salween, and partly in the Maenam Ping system.
