Dōjō-ji

Dojo -ji (Japanese道 成 寺) is a ( Tendai ) Buddhist temple in Hidakagawa, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.

Dojo -ji is famous for its ancient legend, in literature, in the theater ( Noh, Bunraku, Kabuki ) and for the film, about Kon Ichikawa Musume no Dojoji (1946 ) or Kihachiro Kawamoto puppet animation film Dojoji (1976 ), already was repeatedly adapted.
