Dolfinarium Harderwijk

The Dolphinarium Harderwijk Harderwijk is one of the world's greatest theme parks, which are specialized in marine mammals ( Dolphinarium ).

History

1963 began the entrepreneur Frits at the Herder to collect marine mammals. He established the first dolphinarium in the Netherlands. 1965 this was opened to the public.

Animal Arte

Contents will include various cetaceans, such as dolphins ( bottlenose dolphin ) and porpoises, seal species, such as sea lions ( Steller sea lion shear and California Sea Lion ), walruses and seals, as well as some smaller fish species. The Dolphinarium has set itself the goal, especially to accommodate endangered species and those which recommends the European breeding program to breed. Noteworthy are the lagoon like design systems for cetaceans.
