Döllnfließ

The Döllnfließ (also Dölln - flow ) is a left tributary of the Havel in Brandenburg.

It rises in the Schorfheide from the Great Doellnsee ( Großdöllner lake ), flows through the little Doellnsee and then passes on to the southwest up to Voss channel. Previously led the flow in the old Havel ( " Fast Havel "); since the construction of parallel to old Havel applied Voss channel the flow is itself guided parallel to the canal south to the lock Bischofswerder, where it then flows into the channel.

The Döllnfließ was created in the Middle Ages as a link between the ditch and the Döllnseen Havel to instill Slapped in the Schorfheide wood for Havel can. Until the construction of narrow-gauge railway in the late 19th century, the flow was still used for rafts.
