Dollywood is a theme park in the U.S. small town of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It is visited by approximately 2.4 million people.

History

After the park was created in 1961 as Rebel Railroad, he experienced some name changes before it with Dollywood received its present name in 1986. Namesake was the new co-owner, the singer Dolly Parton.

Attractions and park construction

Dollywood is divided into ten different topics. Highlights include the wooden roller coaster Thunderhead by the manufacturer Great Coasters International ( 2004) and the steel roller coaster Mystery Mine of the German company Gerstlauer Amusement Rides (2007). 2014 opened the park with the Fire Chaser Express a family roller coaster with two victories. The track is 740 meters long and 24 meters high.
