Dolphin Telecom

The company Dolphin Telecom ( Germany ) showed by renaming from the so-called RegioKom Group in March 1999. This had recently (formerly owned by Deutsche Telekom / T- Mobile ) are brought together by the acquisition of network operators Quick Funk GmbH and Chekker ProRegio trunked radio GmbH & Co. KG Germany the operator analog trunked radio networks in Germany in a company. The networks of RegioKom, Quick radio and Checker were summarized under the brand Chekker. In August 2007, a new company called Dolphin Telecom GmbH in Cologne, which had previously bought from the liquidator in England all name and domain rights. This new Dolphin Telecom GmbH had had with former trunking provider Dolphin Telecom ( Germany ) GmbH, the sign 2001 bankruptcy in 2005 and set the operation to do nothing. The new Dolphin Telecom had no legal or economic relation to the "old bankruptcy Dolphin".

On 26 August 2007, the company released three press releases, in which a new service was announced. With the service Dolphin Dolphin Telecom mobile customers all offered the opportunity to lead by means of software installed on the phone calls to expensive call destinations their respective providers over and on more favorable terms. The free software was based on a Europe-wide patented technology and work fully automatically, without any other changes at all Symbian and Windows Mobile phones. In addition, a simpler version for Java - based mobile phones was available. As options for setting up the call, the method extension ( Call Through) and callback (callback ) were used.

The Dolphin Mobile Software was based on a patent from 1997, a German inventor and relates to an automatic dialing endpoint of electronic information and / or data transmitted, the true self is a selection of to-use networks and connects through the most advantageous network and their selection parameters between the different networks can be adapted.
