The Dôme de Rochefort is a 4015 m high mountain in the Massif of the Grandes Jorasses. It lies on the border between France and Italy in the Mont- Blanc massif. The first ascent was made on August 12, 1881 by J. Eccles, Alphonse and Michel Clément Payot.
