Dominic Imhof

Dominic James Imhof ( born July 28, 1982 in Grande Prairie, Canada ) is a Canadian football player with Swiss descent.

Career

Imhof began his career with his hometown club BV United Smithers Gunners in Alberta, Canada. He also holds a Swiss passport and played from 2001 to 2004 for the junior team of St. Gallen FC. In the professional team at that time was his brother Daniel. In 2004 he moved to FC Gossau and rose with the club in 2007 in the Challenge League. After the climb, he played no role in Gossau and joined in January 2008, the third division side FC Tuggen on. After he failed to Tuggen in the promotion round to the Challenge League 2009, he moved to the summer break to league rivals FC Rapperswil -Jona, but where he was not happy and for the second half 2010 down again returned to FC Tuggen. In January 2012 he returned to FC Tuggen the back and signed with his former club FC Gossau. After half a year he signed in June 2012 for the FC Bazenheid a 6 month contract. In December 2012, Imhof of Switzerland came back and went back to his Canadian youth club BV United Smithers Gunners.

In May 2009, Imhof was first appointed to the Canadian national team and was on 30 May in a friendly match against Cyprus as a substitute later his international debut.
