Dominic Maroh ( born March 4, 1987 in Nürtingen ) is a Slovenian- German football player.

Youth

Marohs mother is German, his father is from Slovenia. He began with four years at the Bambini TSV Neckartailfingen to play football. He played as a striker. After nine years, he left his hometown club.

Career

In 2000 he moved to SSV Reutlingen, where he played from 2006 in the first team in the Regionalliga Süd, but could not establish himself as a regular player. In 2008, he joined the second team of the 1st FC Nuremberg, who had just gained in the Regionalliga Süd, and was a fixture at center-back. On October 26, he was playing in Koblenz for the first time on the bench for the first team.

He had his first professional use on November 7 in the 2nd Bundesliga against FSV Frankfurt. Once there had been a red card for defender José Gonçalves in the 55th minute, Maroh came on for Isaac Boakye striker. Despite a solid first round got after the winter break on loan from FC Bayern Breno preference. National

On February 11, 2009 Maroh was appointed for the Slovenian national team to play an international match, but there not used. In an interview he said at first he did not want to play for Slovenia, but maybe for Germany. This decision he revised and justified it with the too rapid pace of his still young career. It should not then have been willing as he announced on his Facebook page. On August 15, 2012, he made ​​his debut for the Slovenian national football team in the match against Romania.
