Dominic Matteo
Dominic Matteo ( born April 4, 1974 in Dumfries, Scotland ) is a former Scottish footballer.
Career
The left-footed Matteo began his career in the youth of Liverpool FC. After a few years in the first team the Reds went to the left -back, who was temporarily loaned to Sunderland, 2000 for a transfer fee of about € 7.2 million to Leeds United and then went to the Blackburn Rovers. Since the beginning of the 2007/ 08 Matteo played for Stoke City, where he also finished his career in the 2008/ 09 season.
Matteo played between 2000 and 2002 six times in the Scottish national football team.
