Dominik Bielke

Dominik Bielke ( born October 23, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German professional ice hockey player standing since the 2008/ 09 season with the Polar Bears Berlin from the German ice hockey league under contract. His father René Bielke is considered the best goalkeeper in hockey history of the German Democratic Republic.

Career

Bielke began his career in the young polar bears Berlin, where he was active with the youth team in the German junior league in the 2005/06 season. A season later he was in the squad of polar bears Juniors Berlin, with whom he played from then on in the big leagues. There, however, he first came on only three bets and played mainly in the DNL. During the 2007/ 08 season, he belonged to the tribe of cadres and was able to secure with the polar bears Juniors relegation in the league.

In the season 2008/ 09 the links Sagittarius was first convened by Don Jackson in the first team of polar bears Berlin. There he came to seven missions in which he was able to achieve a point scorer. To the great surprise, he was selected after the season in the NHL Entry Draft in 2009 in the seventh round at number 207 out of the San Jose Sharks. As of August 2009, he played the 2009/10 season with a production license for Dresdner Eislöwen in the 2nd Bundesliga. After the cooperation with the Eislöwen was lifted, the production license was awarded to the league rivals Eispiraten Crimmitschau, for whom he played until 2011.

Internationally

At the international level Bielke took the German Junior National Team in 2008 at the U18 World Youth Championship in Russia in part, where the team with 1:4 failed in the United States in the quarterfinals. In the match for fifth place team from Finland was almost defeated 4-3. Bielke completed six games, scoring a Assist A year later, he was part of the squad of the German U-20 selection at the U20 World Junior Championship in Ottawa, Canada and was nominated as the youngest outfield player to six inserts.
