Dominik Jackson

Dominik Jackson ( * April 21, 1984 in Scampton, Lincolnshire, England ) is a British former racing driver.

Career

After Jackson had started his motorsport career in karting, he moved in 2002 to Formula racing and finished sixth in the British Formula Zip. In 2003, he appeared in the German Formula BMW ADAC at the Berlin- Brandenburg. While his team-mate Maximilian Götz won the championship title, Jackson was seventh with two wins. In 2004 he stayed with his team and scored three podium finishes. At the end of the season he improved to fifth in the drivers' standings. His team-mate Sebastian Vettel won this season with 18 wins from 20 races dominate the championship. In addition, Jackson took part in four races in the U.S. Formula BMW, finishing in twelfth place overall.

2005 Jackson joined the team JVA in the 3000 Pro Series for two races. Although he was once again finished third and fourth, his team put him in no other race. In the overall standings, he was tenth. 2006 was the Briton again no cockpit for a full season and he competed in two races in the Pazific F2000, of which he won a race, and four races in the U.S. Formula Ford 2000. He was 17 in the Pazific F2000 and 23 in the U.S. formula Ford 2000.

In 2007, he joined half a season in the Formula Palmer Audi. He was 16th in the overall standings. His last assignment as a racer had Jackson 2008 in the Superleague Formula. In the supervised GTA Motor Competición team of Tottenham Hotspur, he represented Duncan Tappy on a race weekend.
