Dominique Perrault

Dominique Perrault ( born April 9, 1953 in Clermont- Ferrand ) is a French architect.

Life

Perrault studied architecture at the Unité 6 Pédagogique the École nationale supérieure des beaux -arts de Paris (1978 ), followed by urban design at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris (1979 ) and History at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (1980 ). In 1981 he founded his own architectural firm in Paris, in 1992 in Berlin, 2000 in Luxembourg, in 2002 and Barcelona in Baltimore (USA).

He was architecture from 1998 to 2001 President of the Institut français d'.

In 1984 he was awarded the construction of the university ESIEE ( Ecole Supérieure d' Ingénieurs en électronique et électrotechnique ) internationally known in Marne- la -Vallee outside Paris. Perrault won the 1989 international competition for the construction of the French National Library.
