Domodedovo Airlines

Domodedovo Airlines (Russian Домодедовские авиалинии, Domodedowskije awialini ) was a Russian airline based in Moscow. She was in the sphere of influence of the Russian oligarchs and twin brothers Boris and Alexander Mikhailovich Abramovich, who held a 49 % stake in the airline.

History

Domodedovo Airlines was founded in 1998. In 2004, the company has joined forces with four other Russian airlines alliance AiRUnion. End of September 2008 was discontinued due to financial problems of flight operations. The airline had its headquarters until 2008 at the same airport south of Moscow. Five Ilyushin IL -96 were among their flagships.

Domodedovo Airlines employed in the air about 400 employees. At the bottom of the society entertained addition to its headquarters in three other major Russian cities have their own offices ( Krasnoyarsk, Norilsk, Yakutsk ).

Objectives

In addition to scheduled flights within the CIS States and Germany, the company offered mainly charter flights to Southern and Southeast Asian destinations.
