Don Dohler

Don Dohler ( born January 27, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, † December 2, 2006 in Perry Hall, Maryland ) was an American film director.

Life

Don Dohler started his film career as a child. In the 1960s and 1970s, he turned primarily short films. His first feature film was released in 1978 Alien Factor Further works were afraid of the Lost (1980 ), Night Beast -. Terror from outer space (1982 ), Galaxy Invader (1985) and Blood Massacre (1987). after he retired for several years as a director. During this time he worked on various film magazines and wrote several books about filmmaking. In 2001, he turned with Alien Factor 2: The Alien Rampage a sequel to his first film.

Dohler founded in 2000 in Perry Hall, Maryland, the film production company " Timewarp Films" with Joe Ripple.

On December 2, 2006 Don Dohler died after a months- long battle with cancer. His last film Deadhunt appeared posthumously.
