Don Frye

Don Frye ( born November 23, 1965) is a retired American mixed martial arts fighter, wrestler and actor. His MMA fight balance sheet amounted to career end on 20 wins, eight defeats, one draw and a fight without judgment. He also played several roles in films and series. Frye's nickname was The Predator.

Life

Don Frye began at his high school in Arizona with the struggle and led the sport at Arizona State University, where he trained under assistant coach Dan Severn, and later at Oklahoma State University. He was also active as a judoka and boxers. After his time at university he began to work as a firefighter.

1995 Frye was the training partner of his former coaches, the MMA fighter Dan Severn. This ensured that Frye in February 1996 could participate in an event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. At this tournament in Puerto Rico he struck in his first MMA fight Thomas Ramirez after eight second knockout, defeating then Sam Adkins by TKO after 48 seconds.
