History
The Municipality of Don Marcelino was formed on 19 December 1979. The first appointed mayor was Vicente S. Maruya, who hold office had six years until he was forced to resign after the EDSA Revolution and Victor Rodriguez took office. Victor Rodriguez had the mayor's office held three terms. His successor was Fidel Sasuman, who also held the office three terms of office and until June 2007 was mayor. Mayor elected from 2007 to 2010 is John Harvey Johnson.
