Don Potter (musician)

Don Potter is an American musician and music producer from Nashville. As a longtime producer for Wynonna Judd, he was known as " the man who invented the Judds sound ".

Career

Since the late 1960s, Potter works as a singer, guitarist, songwriter, studio musician and producer and has collaborated with renowned artists such as Elton John, Mark Knopfler, Chuck Mangione, and Hank Williams Jr.. His musical career began as an acoustic guitarist on the 1971 released album Friends and Love - A Chuck Mangione Concert.

In addition to numerous CD releases of his own music, he has written many journal articles and a book on worship entitled Facing the Wall.

Its website emphasizes his work as worship leaders in parishes, where he attempted in the style of the so -called " prophetic worship" to be conducted in any event by the Holy Spirit.

Don and his wife Christine live in Nashville.
