Don Was and Was (Not Was)

Don Was was traveling first as a bass guitarist and session musician. Using his artist name he founded together with his childhood friend David Weiss in the early 1980s, the rock group Was (Not Was). After five albums rehearsed they separated in 1993. Written by him in 1987, entitled Walk The Dinosaur is his greatest success as a songwriter with places among the top 10 in Austria and the UK.
