Donald E. Thorin
Donald Eugene Thorin ( born October 12, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American cinematographer.
Life
Donald Eugene Thorin tied back in the 50s about an uncle contact to the film industry and learned his craft from the bottom up. He initially worked as a still photographer, then as an advertising designer and film depositors in the service of 20th Century Fox.
After Thorin for the first time took the camera work in Minnie and Moskowitz, he was about ten years camera assistant on productions such as The City EUR sufferers, This land is my land, and Coming Home - Coming Home. In the latter two films Thorin each assisted the U.S. cinematographer Haskell Wexler. With the camera work on The maverick Thorin was the first time his own responsibility for the camera of a feature film. Until his recent camera work in Head of State 2003 should still films such as In Search of the Golden Child and Ace Ventura - will follow wild.
Donald Eugene Thorin is the father of Donald E. Thorin Jr. cameramen and Jeffrey Thorin.
