Donald Hall

Donald Hall ( born September 20, 1928 in New Haven, Connecticut) is an American poet and the 14th Poet Laureate of the United States. In June 2006 he was appointed Poet Laureate in October he took the place. 2007 joined his successor Charles Simic. Hall has studied at Harvard University and at Oxford University.

Hall was married until her death in 1995 with the poet Jane Kenyon.
