The Donald L. Tucker Center is a multi-purpose hall in the U.S. city of Tallahassee, the state capital of Florida. Is named the hall in Leon County after the former Speaker of the House of Florida and the United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Donald L. Tucker. The Donald L. History

Just one block southeast of the main campus of Florida State University was the former Tallahassee - Leon County Civic Center opened in November 1981. The building got its current name in 2004. The cost of the sports arena amounted to 33.8 million U.S. dollars. In October 1998, renovations began in inter alia 34 luxury suites and 468 club seats have been set up between the upper and lower part. A restaurant called Spotlight Grille offers 450 seats overlooking the arena and the hall roof of a video cube with four large screens was hung in the middle. In the corners of the hall scoreboards for the scores have been installed. The upper part was rebuilt to improve visibility, build additional changing rooms and installed a new sound system. The work was completed before the start of basketball season 2000/2001.

Since opening use the Florida State Seminoles, the men 's basketball team and the women of Florida State University, the hall. From 1997 to 2001 it was home to the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks ( ECHL hockey league ); the arena football team Tallahassee Thunder of the AF2 wore from 2000 to 2002 their games in the arena. Also briefly was the guest performance of indoor soccer teams from Tallahassee Scorpions of only 1997 and 1998, existing, EISL.

In addition to basketball games of the Florida State Seminoles find eg Concerts, conventions, ice shows, fairs, rodeos, circuses or monster truck races. Under the Donald L.
