Donald S. Lopez, Jr.

Donald Sewell Lopez, Jr. ( born 1952 in Washington, DC) is an author and professor of ' Buddhist and Tibetan Studies ' at the University of Michigan. In 1982 he received his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia. He specializes in Indian and Tibetan Buddhism, Tibetan history and Tibetan language.
