Donati is an impact crater on the lunar front side, east of the Mare Nubium, northeast of the crater Faye and southwest of Airy. The crater is eroded and has a central mountain on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Giambattista Donati.
