Donato Acciaioli

Donato Acciaiuoli ( born September 15, 1428 Florence, † August 28, 1478 in Milan ) was a scholar.

Donato Acciaiuoli comes from the family of Florence. He wrote a Latin translation of some works of Plutarch, commentaries on Aristotle ethics and politics, and about the life of Hannibal, Scipio and Charlemagne ( Charles the Great). In the work on Aristotle he cooperated with his master John Argyropulos. In 1473 he was Gonfaloniere of Florence.
