Donburi
Donburi (Japanese丼) is a meal in Japanese cuisine, is filled with the rice in a bowl and then with the other ingredients - is covered - mostly meat.
Variations include the following:
- Butadon or Tondon ( with pork )
- Gyudon ( with beef )
- Ikuradon ( with salmon spawning )
- Katsudon ( with breaded pork chop )
- Mabodon ( with Mapo- tofu)
- Magurodon ( with tuna )
- Oyakodon ( with eggs and chicken)
- Tamagodon ( with eggs )
- Tendon ( Tempura )
- Unadon ( with eel)
- Yakitoridon ( with Yakitori )
The name of most courts arises from the combination of " toppings " and the abbreviation for Donburi, "don".
