Dong Cheng (Han dynasty)

Dǒng cheng (董承) ( † 200) was a government official during the late Han Dynasty and during the Three Kingdoms in ancient China.

He was a brother of Empress Dowager Dong and thus an uncle of Emperor Xian. As a guard, he defeated General Guo Si, had gained control of the emperor.

Dong Cheng received 199 by Emperor Xian edict by the order to kill the warlord Cao Cao. For this plan, he gained reliable men, including Ma Teng and Liu Bei. But when Cao Cao learned of this, he let Dong Cheng executed.
