Dong Dong

Dong Dong ( Sino董 栋/董 栋, Pinyin Dǒng Dong, born April 13, 1989 in Zhengzhou) is a Chinese trampoline gymnast. He is trained by Cai Guangliang.

In 2005, Dong was Chinese trampoline champion. As a result, he was able to achieve success internationally. So Dong Dong occupied at the Trampoline World Championships in 2007 in Quebec City in second place in the individual and thus won silver. He was a member of the Chinese squad for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. He participated in the trampoline individual competition and reached the bronze medal behind Canadian Jason Burnett and his compatriot Lu Chunlong. The Trampoline World Championships 2009 in St. Petersburg Dong was first world champion in singles. When the trampoline world championships 2010 he successfully defended his title in the singles success at the 2011 World Championships, he won the silver medal in singles. 2012 Dong Dong was at the Olympic Games in London Olympic champion in singles.
