Donna Allen

Donna Allen is an American pop singer who was especially successful in the 1980s.

Donna Allen was born in Key West and grew up in Tampa, where she was cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She was the lead singer of the group Hi -Octane and Trama before embarking on a solo career. Their album Perfect Timing was released in 1986 to Twenty One, the Serious Singles, Satisfied and Sweet Somebody could get into the charts. Their next album called Heaven on Earth followed in 1987 on Oceana, with the title track, Can We Talk? and Joy and Pain as chart beginners.

In 1995, she sang the produced by Jon Secada and Emilio Estefan song Real for the soundtrack of the film The Specialist.
