Donna de Varona

Donna de Varona Elizabeth ( born April 26, 1947 in San Diego ) is a former American swimmer.

She took in 1960 and 1964 Olympic Games in part. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 it was over 400 m medley and the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay Olympic gold medalist. After these games, she ended her career and was at ABC Sportkommentatorin. She was the first woman who has held such a position at a TV station. In 1969, she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame Sports.
