Donna Dixon

Donna Dixon ( born July 20, 1957 in Alexandria, Virginia ) is an American actress.

Dixon's father was a nightclub owner. She was Miss Virginia in 1976 and first worked as a photo model. As an actress she made her debut in the television series Bosom Buddies, in which she played from 1980 until 1982. In the film Dr. Detroit ( 1983) she played alongside Dan Aykroyd, whom she later married, and in addition they also in the films Twilight Zone (1983 ) and played Spies Like Us (1985). In the film, The Call Girl Club (1986 ) starred opposite Faye Dunaway, in the movie Cannonball Fever - On the highway it works really begins (1989 ) with John Candy, in the movie Wayne 's World ( 1992) alongside Mike Myers and Tia Carrere, in the film Nixon ( 1995), opposite Anthony Hopkins. She was also seen in the television series Berrenger 's, Charmed Lives and The Moonlighting.

Dixon is married to Dan Aykroyd since 1983 and has three daughters: Danielle (* 1989), Belle (* 1993) and Stella ( * 1998).
