Dooega
Dumha own (Anglicised: Dooega ) is a village in the southwest of the island of Achill Iceland in County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland. The village belonged until recently to the Irish-speaking Gaeltacht, but still houses the Coláiste Acla, an Irish-language summer school. The town lies on the Atlantic Drive, a coastal road with remarkable views to the island of Clare Iceland. Dumha own / Dooega has a recognized beach ( Blue Flag beach), a church, a pub plus hostel ( known as " Mickey 's") and shall further be inhabited by hospitable people.
The village is easily confused because of the similarity in name with the place Dumha Acha / Dooagh, one in the north- west of the island village.
