Dorchester County (Maryland)

The Dorchester County is a county located in the U.S. state of Maryland. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Cambridge.

History

The Dorchester County was formed in 1668 to then disorganized designated as Indian land. It was named after Edward Sackville, 4th Earl of Dorset, an English nobleman.
