Doriot, Flandrin & Parant

Doriot, Flandrin et Parant was a French automobile manufacturer.

Company History

1908 founded the former Peugeot employee Auguste Doriot and Ludovic Flandrin, previously the company Doriot Flandrin initiated, together with the brothers Alexandre and Jules -René Parant the new company Doriot, Flandrin et Parant in Courbevoie. The brand name was DFP. After the First World War, the company was unable to repeat the previous sales success. Due to financial difficulties in 1926 ended the production, Voiturettes Th Lafitte took over the company.

Rolling stock

By 1910 there were still models with single-cylinder engines in the program corresponding to the models of Doriot Flandrin. These new models come with four-cylinder engines installation of Chapuis - Dornier with either 2400 cc or 2800 cc capacity. 1910 was followed by the smaller four-cylinder model 10/12 CV 1592 cc. This engine with side valves also came from Chapuis - Dornier. 1911 was also the less successful model 25/30 CV with a six cylinder engine with 3617 cc engine capacity in the range. 1912 began making its own engines.

From 1919 he came built-in motors of Altos and Sergeant, and later of CIME used. Only in 1923 were once again created its own engines.
