Doris Dragović
Dorotea " Doris " Dragovic ( born April 16, 1961 in Split) is a Croatian singer.
In the 1980s it became famous as a member of the band More. In 1986, she then started her solo career. In the same year she represented Yugoslavia at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1986, Bergen ( Norway) with the song zeljo moja ( Engl.: My wish ). She reached the 11th place.
Thirteen years after her appearance in Bergen she began again in 1999 with the Euro Vision Song Contest, this time for Croatia. Your dramatic song Marija Magdalena reached the 4th place, to date, the best result of Croatia.
Doris is married to the former Croatian water polo player Mario Budimir.
