Geography

Dornburg bordered on the west and north by the municipalities Westerwald circle ( Rhineland -Palatinate ); the other neighboring communities also belong to the district of Limburg -Weilburg. History

The "Thorn Castle ", which in 1971 gave the church after the merger of her parent her name, is an approximately 396 -meter -high hill, on which the remains of a ring wall of the La Tène period ( 5th to 1st century BC ). located In her lay a city like Celtic settlement. On December 31, 1971, Thalheim joined. Finally the town Langendernbach was incorporated on July 1, 1974 by operation of law.
