Dornier Consulting is an international consulting and project management company for traffic, transport, energy and the environment / water.
In 2011, the company employed 300 people and was responsible for more than 100 projects in 25 countries with a total project volume of about 30 billion euros.
History
The company was formed in 1962 from the former Dornier - planning advice in Friedrichshafen and had to focus research and development projects for public and military facilities. As part of the takeover of Dornier by Daimler -Benz planning advice was largely independent as business, 1995 registered with the legal form of a GmbH as a separate company and by DaimlerChrysler Services (formerly debis) out; then the mobility services of the then Daimler -Benz group were introduced. 2000 with the creation of EADS, she was wholly-owned subsidiary of EADS Germany GmbH.
Main customers include the EU, various governments and government agencies, the World Bank, the German railway, Daimler and EADS. Caused a sensation in the company through the discovery of water resources in the United Arab Emirates, which are based on analysis of radar images.

International Dornier Consulting South Africa and the Dornier Contracting Services & Training ( DCST ) in Riyadh / Saudi Arabia were established as a subsidiary. Additional offices in Abu Dhabi ( UAE) and Kiev Ukraine.
Electromobility
Since 2008, Dornier Consulting cared electric mobility projects in Germany, starting with the first mini -E pilot project for Vattenfall Europe in Berlin. Since then, Dornier Consulting has, inter alia, two of the top 4- utilities ( Vattenfall and EnBW) cared for in three of the eight model regions that had placed from 2010 to 2011, the Federal Government: For Vattenfall Europe all electric mobility activities in Berlin and Hamburg have been advised, from strategy development, through the business development to product development. 2010/11 Dornier Consulting also oversaw the EnBW energy producers in electromobility model region of Stuttgart. This includes, among other things, the project management, the design and deployment of the charging infrastructure and business development is .. As of 2012, Dornier Consulting in two of the four acclaim from the Federal Government's future hinges active ( Berlin and Baden- Württemberg). In addition, Dornier Consulting advises numerous infrastructure providers and vehicle manufacturers.
