Dornier Do 635

The Dornier Do 635 was a the end of the Second World War configured reconnaissance the Dornier works.

Designed in 1944, the aircraft was following a tender procedure of the High Command of the Air Force for a long-range reconnaissance with a range of 7500 kilometers. As timely design should, like the Heinkel He 111 Z, two Dornier Do 335 B are connected by a wing center section. In the left fuselage, the pilot should be placed in the right of the radio operator. An armament was not provided. An earlier name of the project was He P.1075, also known as He 635.

The design was transferred to Junkers, where the project under the name Ju 635 was pursued. Goal was to simplify the project for ease of production. To build a prototype it did not come.
