Dorothea Wilhelmine of Saxe-Zeitz

Dorothea Wilhelmine of Saxe- Zeitz ( born March 20, 1691 Elster, † March 17, 1743 in Kassel) was a princess of Saxe- Zeitz and by marriage Countess of Hesse- Kassel.

Life

Dorothea Wilhelmine was a daughter of the Duke Moritz Wilhelm of Saxe- Zeitz (1664-1718) from his marriage to Maria Amalia (1670-1739), daughter of the Elector Frederick William of Brandenburg. Until 1710 all of her siblings had died and Dorothea Wilhelmine was so after the death of her father, the last living member of the House of Saxe - Zeitz.
