Dorothy Jordan (film actress)

Dorothy Jordan ( born August 9, 1906 in Clarksville, Tennessee; † December 7, 1988 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.

Life

Jordan began her film career in 1929 and went on among other things beside Bette Davis, Clark Gable and John Wayne. She was married to Merian C. Cooper, the director of King Kong and the white woman, the first King Kong movie. Together they had a son and two daughters. Jordan died in 1988 of heart failure.
