Dorothy Yeats

Erzsebet Dorothy Yeats (* July 29, 1993 in Montreal ) is a Canadian wrestler. It was 2010 in Singapore Youth Olympic champion.

Career

Dorothy Yeats began as a teenager at high school with the rings. It now belongs to the Sports Club Montreal YMHA and is trained by Victor Zilberman.

In 2008 she was in the weight class up to 60 kg for the first time Canadian junior champion aged Cadets ( Cadets = up to 16 years ). In 2009, she repeated this success, however, in the weight class up to 65 kg. In 2010 she won the Canadian excretion for the Youth Olympics in Singapore in the weight class bsi 70 kg. Before they started playing these games at the Pan American Junior Championships in Managua and won there in the weight class up to 63 kg before Dailana Gomes dos Reis from Brazil. In Singapore, she became Junior Olympic champion in front of Moon Jin -ju of South Korea, Karina Stankowa from Ukraine and Rinna Kutschenkowa from Kazakhstan.

2011 took Dorothy Yeats at the Canadian Junior Championship in the weight class up to 67 kg behind Sabrina Kelly 2nd place. In the same year she was appointed by the Canadian Association Ringer at the Commonwealth Championships in Melbourne in the weight class up to 63 kg, and won there before the two Indians Anita Sheoran and Suman Kundu.

2012, Dorothy Yeats Canadian Junior Champion and Canadian Champion in the women's, both times in the weight class up to 67 kg. At the championships of the ladies she won it before so experienced wrestlers like Stacie Anaka and Megan Buydens. In June 2012, she competed in several tournaments in Europe. The greatest success she managed it at the Austrian Open - Lady- in Götzis, because she defeated there in the final, the European champion of 2012 Henna Johansson from Sweden. A place in the Olympic Games in London failed because the weight class up to 67 kg is not olympic and they would therefore in the weight class up to 63 kg must work off.
