Dorsa Aldrovandi

The Dorsa Aldrovandi are a number of so-called seamounts in the east of Mare Serenitatis on the Earth's moon.

They got their name in 1976 after the Italian Ulisse Aldrovandi naturalist who lived from 1522 to 1605. The Aldrovandi - backs have an average diameter of 136 km.
