Dossena
Dossena is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 954 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).
Geography
Dossena, 20 km north of the provincial capital of Bergamo and 60 km northeast of the city of Milan.
The neighboring municipalities are Lenna, Roncobello, San Giovanni Bianco, San Pellegrino Terme and Serina.
Attractions
The parish church of San Giovanni Battista from the 15th century, contains many valuable works of art.
Festivals
The Masked Ball Dossena at the end of winter carnival is the expulsion of the cold season. Masked and dressed with valuable things attract people with lamps through the streets of the town.
