Douangdeuane Bounyavong

Douangdeuane Bounyavong (Lao ດວງ ເດືອນ ບຸນ ຍາ ວົງ ສ, ALA -LC Dūangdư̄an Bunyāvong, born June 11, 1947), also known by her maiden name Douangdeuane Viravong, pen name Dok Ked ( Dō̜kkēt ) is a Laotian author. She is the widow of Outhine Bounyavong.

You written poems, novels, books about Lao textiles and transcripts orally transmitted folk tales, including his most famous work Kam Pha Phi Noi ( "The little orphan and the Spirit "). It is committed to literacy and operates, inter alia, a publisher and a bookstore for children's books in Lao language.

In 2005, she received the Fukukoa Art and Culture Prize.
