Doug Lamborn

Doug Lamborn ( born May 24, 1954 in Leavenworth, Leavenworth County, Kansas) is an American politician. He is a member of the Republican Party and, since 2007, representing the 5th Congressional District of the State of Colorado member of the House of Representatives.

Doug Lamborn studied at the University of Kansas in Lawrence and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor from; In 1985, the Doctorate Juris Doctor. Subsequently, he worked as an attorney in his own law firm. In 1995 he was elected to the House of Representatives from Colorado, where he remained until 1998; after that he was a state senator until 2006, where he served as president pro tempore from 1999 to 2000.
