Doula

A doula ( from Ancient Greek δούλη ( doule ) " servant ," " slave ," " servant " ) is before a woman an expectant mother, during and stands to the side after the birth as an emotional and physical companion. It sees itself as pregnancy, birth and postpartum companion. She works extensively with the woman and supported by reliable and competent presence. Doula associations worldwide

The association " DONA International " is the oldest and largest doula association worldwide. It currently has more than 7,000 birth and postpartum doulas and exists since 1992. Training
