Doutzen Kroes

Doutzen Kroes ( born January 23, 1985 in Eastermar ) is a Dutch model.

Life

After her graduation in 2003 Kroes sent some holiday pictures to the agency "Paparazzi Model Management " in Amsterdam in the hope of being able to earn a little money by the way. She was invited by the owner of the agency, Sarah Keller, a professional photo shoot. As a result, they quickly got orders for magazines in the Netherlands.

Work

Kroes makes fashion shows for brands such as Versace, D & G and Fendi. You globally promoting the perfume Eternity by Calvin Klein in place of Christy Turlington. In 2005, she debuted at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, in which she is since September 2008 as "Angel" under contract.

In 2006, a documentary was made about her life as a model.

Outside the professional world still unknown, she signed an exclusive contract in 2006 over three years with L' Oreal after this for years only had celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer, Laetitia Casta, Andie MacDowell, Heather Locklear, Natalie Imbruglia and many others under contract. This was an internationally known model within a few months.

Kroes gave 2011 her film debut in the movie Nova Zembla Reinout Oerlemans of, which premiered on November 21. In the film she played the role of Plancius Catharina, daughter of Petrus Plancius.

Private life

She lives mainly in New York City. Raised in the Dutch province of Friesland, it maintains its Frisian language. At Sports operates sailing, surfing / surfing, dancing and skating.

Since August 2009, Kroes is in a relationship with DJ Sunnery James. They married on November 7, 2010 in her hometown Eastermar and have a son (* 2011).
