Dover (Virginia)

Dover is an unincorporated community in Loudoun County, Virginia. Dover is located east of Middleburg at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 with the Champe Ford Road (Virginia State Route 629 South ) and the Cobb House Road (Route 629 North ). The Little River, a tributary of Goose Creek, rises here along U.S. Route 50

Geography

The county town of Leesburg is 23 km from the capital, Washington, DC is located approximately 64 kilometers east of Dover. Dover is located just 2 kilometers from the historical meaningful Aldie.

Dover's geographical importance is overestimated, since only a few houses are in the village on U.S. Route 50, but Dover has as a named area has a long history and appears on maps of Virginia or even the entire United States. History
