Dr Pepper Snapple Group

The Dr Pepper Snapple Group is a US-based companies in the beverage industry.

History

1995 Dr Pepper / Seven Up was acquired by the British confectionery group Cadbury Schweppes and was until 2008 a subsidiary of the Group.

2003 established the North American beverage division Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages Cadbury Schweppes Group from the merger of Dr Pepper / Seven Up, the Snapple Beverage Group, Motts LLP, and Bebidas Mexico.

2008 Cadbury Schweppes spun the beverage division of the Group and of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group was established. In the same year, Dr Pepper Snapple Group bought the Big Red, Inc., makers of Big Red, NuGrape, Nesbitt 's and other beverage brands.

Distribution

Some Dr Pepper / Seven Up brands will continue to be licensed to Pepsi, Coca -Cola and independent bottlers in different regions of the United States and Canada.

Since Dr Pepper Snapple operates primarily in North America, its brands in Europe to local bottlers Krombacher are licensed, which are also responsible for the distribution.
